Winter Release Library Eddie's Patch Syrah
2013

Winemaker’s Notes

This is one of our finest ever efforts from this steep high-elevation hillside vineyard overlooking the northern Russian River Valley. Exotic aromas of blackberry compote, cracked black pepper and lifted sweet spices persist throughout. The palate is beautifully balanced--rich but not overdone--with a lilting, layered texture and round structure. Drinking beautifully now, this wine will continue to develop for another decade. Decant for two hours to allow the wine to open fully. A real winter treat!
